About me
Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Nicholas Lima, and I am a Brazilian-American illustrator with a desire to keep traditional art alive.
I really appreciate it when I'm given challenging and unique prompts; I think when something is difficult to interpret, then the meaning is worth exploring, and you end up exploring more about the subject, and you dig and dig until you hit a jackpot. I strive to provide the most creative solutions to any kind of these problems, whether the subject is vague or not, I will always find a piece or idea strong enough to give something that new splash of identity and creativity.
How I became an artist
Growing up, my childhood was so fun and colorful and full of art.

Everywhere I looked, colors would jump out at me, and drawing was all I wanted to do. I barely ever got any work done because of how much I was doodling randomly or drawing my teachers. It was either that or singing--when I was younger, I was less afraid of expressing myself, and I had way too much energy to do so. My teacher once had a meeting with my mother, and my teacher had told her that I got up in the middle of a lecture and just started singing out loud. I still have some of that energy now, but I wouldn't get up and sing out of nowhere; it's more so I love to put what I love in my art.

In my career, I want to put out more traditional stuff. I hardly see traditional art featured with businesses, so I want to start making that happen. I also want to create work that I can put my own personal spin on and satisfy any client’s needs.
I’m also ready to adapt to any work environment I’m put in. My goal is to work with as many places as possible, as my work is very broad—I’ll be able to work in a lot of different styles, any one you see fit for your brand or business.
